micro wins Best Bite Award at Amuse

Congratulations to our micro bar & bites team for taking home the ‘silver platter award’ for Judges Choice at Amuse on Saturday night.

Screen Shot 2018-03-04 at 1.18.03 PMAmuse, described as the culinary showcase of Okanagan foodies, was held on Saturday, March 3rd to a sell out crowd at Okanagan College. Restaurants served up a tasty bite paired with a delicious sip while judges Twyla Campbell, Cinda Chavich and Mark Pennington took notes and totaled scores for Best Sip, Best Bite and Best Pairing awards presented at the end of the evening.

Those in attendance also voted for their ‘People’s Choice’ favourite bite, sip and pairing.

This year the four restaurants of RauDZ Creative Concepts Ltd. (RCC) RauDZ Regional Table, Terrafina at Hester Creek by RauDZ, micro bar & bites and the soon-to-open Sunny’s were in attendance each presenting a creative dish for the guests and judges.

micro captured Judges Choice for Best Bite with their ‘Boaris’ Morcilla Sausage on Panisse. The sausage was paired with a ‘Founder’s Keepers’ cocktail featuring Glenlivit Founders Reserve.
